Questions people ask
How do I find the volume of a box?
Multiply length × width × height, all in the same unit.
How many cubic feet is a room?
Measure length, width and ceiling height in feet and multiply. A 12 × 10 ft room with an 8 ft ceiling holds 960 ft³.
How much concrete do I need for a slab?
Length × width × thickness, with thickness in the same unit (4 in = 0.333 ft). Divide cubic feet by 27 for cubic yards, and add 5–10% for waste.
